The S&P 500 futures trade 61 points, or 1.8%, above fair value in a week in which the S&P 500 is already up 5.3%. No presidential winner has been projected yet, but the market remains in rebound rally mode on the prospects for a divided Congress.
The FOMC will conclude its policy meeting today and will release its decision at 2:00 p.m. ET, although no change in rates is expected. Fed Chair Powell will host a press conference at 2:30 p.m. ET, and investors will listen for any commentary about fiscal and monetary support. On a related note, the Bank of England expanded its asset purchase program greater than expected.
Prior to the Fed decision, investors will receive the weekly Initial Claims (Briefing.com consensus 735,000) and Continuing Claims report and the preliminary Q3 Productivity (Briefing.com consensus 4.0%) and Unit Labor Costs (Briefing.com consensus -9.6%) at 8:30 a.m. ET.
Separately, shares of Qualcomm (QCOM 147.50, +18.53, +14.4%) are up 14% in pre-market action after the chipmaker exceeded quarterly expectations and issued upside fiscal Q1 guidance. General Motors (GM 37.75, +2.51, +7.2%) is up 7% after exceeding EPS estimates.
Longer-dated Treasuries have edged higher following yesterday's rally, pushing yields even lower. The 2-yr yield is down one basis point to 0.14%, and the 10-yr yield is down two basis points to 0.75%. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.8% to 92.65 amid relative strength in the euro. WTI crude futures are down 0.8% to $38.82/bbl.

Chinese officials could reportedly implement an anti-dumping duty on Australian wine, serving as another reminder of a deteriorating trade relationship between the two countries.
